Heisenberg Activated Carbon Filter for 14.5 mm Bongs and Bubblers

The Heisenberg activated carbon filter is filled with up to 3 grams of granulated activated carbon and placed between the bong bowl and the smoking device. Thanks to the highly absorbent activated carbon, irritating and harmful substances such as soot, tar, benzene, and other unhealthy particles are filtered out. Active ingredients and flavors remain unaffected and pass through the filter freely, allowing you to enjoy your bong bowls with a smoother smoking experience.

Installing the Activated Carbon Filter

Depending on the bong setup, the activated carbon filter is either placed directly into the joint of stemless bongs or inserted between the adapter and the bowl on regular models. If the activated carbon filter is used together with a pre-cooler, make sure the smoke passes through the filter first and then through the pre-cooler. Otherwise, the moisture from the water inside the pre-cooler can reduce the absorption capacity of the activated carbon.

Suitable Accessories for the Heisenberg 14.5 Activated Carbon Filter

To use the activated carbon filter, you will also need activated carbon granules and a screen to prevent the carbon from falling through the insert. Both accessories are available in our shop. You will need screens with a diameter of 12 mm or smaller.

Use the Heisenberg 14.5 activated carbon filter with either:

• a 10–12 mm pipe screen,
• a 12 mm plug-in screen,
• or a Seamine 10 mm glass screen.

Note

When using a plug-in screen, the handle must be bent so that a 14.5 mm bong bowl fits freely into the joint. If using a Seamine glass screen instead, make sure it is positioned in a way that does not block the airflow. You can test this by drawing air through the filter before use.
